Marikina Revenue District Office Not In Marikina

The BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) of Marikina is known as RDO-45 or Revenue District Office 45.  It used to be located behind the corner of Marcos Highway and Gil Fernando Ave.


Last year, they transferred to their new and bigger location, along Marcos Highway near AMA and Filinvest.   They now have their own building and parking lot.   

I find it strange though that the official Revenue District for Marikina is now in Antipolo making it less convenient for Mariknenos requiring them to travel outside the city for their tax needs.

UPDATE AS OF JULY 2014
BIR RDO No. 45 has moved to Sto. Nino, near Amang Rodriguez Hospital in Bayan.

    If you're taking a car from Marikina Sports Center, take Gil Fernando Ave. to Marcos Highway, and take the U-Turn in front of Robinsons Metro East. Go straight along Marcos Highway. You'll pass Shell gas station and Jollibee, Filinvest and AMA College. A little bit after AMA (to your right) is RDO-45. If you reach Kingsville, you've passed BIR.

    From Makati, you can take the MRT to Cubao, then take a jeep to Antipolo. Tell the driver you'll drop off before Kingsville along Marcos Highway. BIR is right before Kingsville. Your landmark would be Filinvest Subd. then a big AMA School building beside it. Just nearby would be BIR Marikina.

    From Cubao, you can also take the LRT to Santolan station (to avoid Cubao traffic), then take a jeep from there to Antipolo.

    quoting from the BIR website:

    "Area of Jurisdiction:

    Comprised of 5 Municipalities, namely: Marikina, San Mateo, Montalban, Antipolo and Teresa."

    So, I think it's still OK to be in Antipolo since it also serves Antipolo and Teresa... we're still lucky because it's in Marcos Highway...

    You can take a EDSA bus and get off Cubao (ibabaw). Then take a jeep to Masinag/Antipolo. Along Marcos Highway, get off before Kingsville. It's to your right.

    Take EDSA bus from Caloocan to Cubao (ibabaw). From there, walk to Aurora Blvd. and take any of the following jeeps or FXs: Cubao-Antipolo, Cubao-Masinag, Cubao-Cogeo, Cubao-Padilla. Along Marcos Highway, you'll pass Robinsons, Sta Lucia and Filinvest. RDO45 is nearby to your right, after AMA and before Kingsville subdivision.

    Going back, just cross Marcos highway to the other side and take a jeep/fx going back to Cubao.

      It's now near the Marikina Sports Center, on the side of the Amang Rodriguez Hospital.

    BIR RDO No. 45 has moved to Sto. Nino, near Amang Rodriguez Hospital in Bayan. From Quezon City, you can take a jeep from Cubao. Take any of the following: Cubao-SSS Village, Cubao-Parang, Cubao-San Mateo, then get off at the Marikina Sports Center intersection. The BIR office is opposite the Marikina Sports Center.
