There's a new building in Marikina City and it's right at the corner of the Marikina Sports Center.Aptly called, Marikina Sports Building, it's an 8 storey building established to cater to different sports per floor. The exterior of the building facing the Marikina City Hall has labels of each sport per floor.
A golf driving range is located on the 3rd floor with boxing, muay thai, tae-kwon-do, martial arts and a gymnast/fitness center from the 4th floor till the top floor respectively.
The building is covered in steel fences instead of walls and windows so the building is pretty much transparent.
It's not open to the public as of yet but looks like it's almost ready for the sporting residents of Marikina.
I don't understand how can a golf driving range fit the 3rd floor area of the bldg when the ceiling is too low? Most logical is for putting purposes only. Then again, given the space only a handful can do putting there.
ReplyDeleteI personally havent seen the actual floor yet, just the exterior. It would interesting to find out what exactly did they put on that floor.
ReplyDeleteoffice of marikina sport center... Why is it so expensive to play table tennis per hour.. ( 1oo day time ) then 150(night time) ... many children like this sports but who can afford to play this game if it cost a lot. make this sport 50pesos per hour... pleaseeeeeeee

Sports Building is within the Marikina Sports Center. It's facing the parking lot of City Hall (back of City Hall).
