Pirated Stores Closed by City Order

Several stores occupying the stalls at the corner of Shoe Ave. and A. Bonifacio St. in Bayan have been closed since Feb, 24, 2010 due to conducting business without proper business permits.

In addition to non-permit violations, these stores that occupy the space of the former supermarket, Sanko, have been selling pirated movies and pornographic media. The pink stalls have been closed and closure signs have been posted for the public to know why they were closed.

This is in line with the city's strict implementation of business permits whose deadline for renewing and filing city permits for the year ended last January 2010.
