A new Marikina-related Facebook Page has just been created, called 2nd International River Summit.
Created last Sept. 16, 2013, this Facebook community is described as a forum on global challenges, issues and best practices in river management, set amidst the real-life learning laboratory of the Marikina River.

Flood Alert Level Guide & Online Resources for Monitoring Marikina River & Floods
Marikina City has a four-stage alarm level system for the Marikina River:
These alarm levels are based on the depth of water in Marikina River (Sto. Nino). Malanday, Nangka and Tumana are considered critical areas.
